📍 Where are you based & do you travel?

 

I’m based in Middleton, Manchester – right on the edge of the Pennines and close to all the Northern wedding magic. But I don’t just stay local – I cover weddings across the North West, the whole of the UK and I’m always up for an adventure abroad too!

 

For UK weddings over two hours away, I may need overnight accommodation (just to make sure I’m fresh and ready to go). For destination weddings, we’ll chat and work out a travel and accommodation fee that works for both of us.

🏰 Will you visit our venue before the wedding?

 

Usually, no need! I work with the light and vibe on the day itself, and I always arrive early to scope out the best spots for your photos. Every wedding is different – it’s part of the magic.

💍 Can we have an engagement shoot?

 

Absolutely! It’s a great way for us to get to know each other and for you to feel comfy in front of the camera. My top package includes a pre-wedding shoot, but you can add one on anytime.

 

They take place within 30 minutes of Manchester – you can choose the location, or I’ll suggest some gorgeous countryside or urban backdrops.

⏱ How much time should we allow for photos & video on the day?

 

Here’s a rough guide:

    •    Prep – I like to arrive around 2.5 hours before the ceremony to capture the gorgeous details (dress/suit, shoes, flowers, rings… the works).

    •    Group shots – 20–30 minutes (as long as we’ve got a list in advance).

    •    Couple portraits – around 15-25 minutes, but I work quickly so you’re not away from your guests too long. It’s relaxed, natural, and fun – promise!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Do you take formal group shots?

 

Yes, if you’d like them! I have a standard list I work from, but I’ll also ask you to send your must-have groups in advance – this keeps things smooth and quick (group shots take around 2–3 mins each). 10 groups is a sweet spot – enough for the important ones, without eating into party time!

🍽 Do we need to feed you?

 

It’s always appreciated! I’m on my feet all day and need fuel to stay focused for those evening dance floor shots. If you’d prefer not to provide food, just let me know and I’ll plan a break to nip out and grab something.

👥 Do you bring a second shooter?

 

I usually work solo (like a stealthy storytelling ninja), but if you’d like a second photographer, I can bring one along for an additional £350.

⏳ How long until we see our photos & video?

​

    •    Sneak peeks – Within a few days on my socials (because I know you’ll be dying to see a few!).

    •    Full photo gallery – 6 to 8 weeks (maybe up to 10 in peak summer).

    •    Video – 8 to 12 weeks depending on the season.

 

You’ll get everything via a beautiful, private online gallery for you (and your guests) to enjoy.

📸 How many images will we get?

 

Every wedding is different, but you can expect anything from 100 to 800+ images, depending on your coverage, guest numbers, and all the moments that unfold.

🖼 Can our family & friends order prints?

 

Definitely! Your gallery comes with a guest access link and password, so your friends and fam can order their faves (and you can make some photos private if you want to).

📲 Can we post our photos & video on social media?

 

YES, please! I love seeing your fave moments pop up on Instagram and Facebook. All I ask is that you don’t pop filters over them (I’ve already worked my editing magic) and tag me when you post – I’ll be cheering from the sidelines!

✍️ How do we book you?

 

Easy! Whether you want a no-pressure coffee chat or you’re ready to lock me in, just fill out my contact form or drop me an email with:

    •    Your names

    •    Wedding date (if you’ve set it)

    •    Ceremony & reception venues

    •    Where you live

    •    Your contact details

    •    A photo of you with a flamingo (okay, not essential… but I’ll be impressed if you read this far 🦩)

 

A  non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date.  £400 for photo only packages or £500 if you are including Video.  This deducted from your total package price. Once that’s done – you’re officially in the diary!
